What is Fundbox?
Fundbox is an embedded capital platform for small businesses. We use machine learning to help simplify the approval process, offer fast funding decisions, and keep pricing transparent.

Our goal is to connect businesses with access to the credit they need, when they need it, so they can buy more, sell more, and grow. Our proprietary risk technology assesses business performance holistically, leading to faster credit approvals for more businesses.

How soon will you know if you or your customers are approved?
Generally, you’ll know within minutes, but it can take up to 24 hours or longer in some cases.
How quickly can funds be available?
Funds are available to draw as soon as you’re approved and should arrive in your bank account within 2 business days.

For Businesses

What do I need for my application?
You will need a business checking account with at least 3 months of transactions.
Will you need additional information or documentation?
You may be asked to provide additional information or documentation. Should this be needed, you’ll receive a notification letting you know what’s needed.
How will my credit score be impacted?
As a soft pull is performed during the application process, your credit score should not be impacted. If approved, at the time of your first draw, a hard pull will be performed, which may impact your credit score.
How does Fundbox remain tied to your bank account?
Fundbox uses a third party data provider, Plaid, to initially connect, and remain connected with your bank account. Should you become disconnected for any reason, you will be notified via email.
Does Fundbox report to business credit bureaus?
Yes, Fundbox reports to the Small Business Financial Exchange (SBFE), which shares data with all 3 major business credit bureaus: Experian, Equifax, and Dun&Bradstreet.

Yes. We provide hands-on support and have launched embedded products in as little as two weeks.
Can Fundbox customize the experience to reflect our brand?
Yes. Fundbox offers a fully white-labeled experience, allowing you to tailor the look and feel to match your brand from visual design to messaging.
What data is required?
Fundbox ingests a wide variety of data from its partners, including but not limited to cashflow data found in bank accounts, payments and/or invoicing transactions. Additionally, we have the ability to ingest unique data from our partner platforms to include in our underwriting models.
What tech platforms do you support? (Mobile vs desktop)
Fundbox supports both mobile and desktop.
Do Fundbox capital products build business credit for my customers?
Yes. Fundbox reports to the Small Business Financial Exchange (SBFE), which shares data with all major business credit bureaus, helping your customers build their business credit history.
What type of merchants and platforms do you service?
Fundbox serves small businesses across a wide range of industries, verticals, and platforms throughout the SMB economy.
Who is taking on the risk and can service this end to end?
Fundbox can fully handle both risk and servicing, making it simple for partners. If preferred, partners can also choose to take on some level of risk and servicing themselves, but it’s not required.
