How it works

Term loan

  1. One disbursement

The full loan amount lands in the customer’s business bank account.

  2. Terms run 6 to 24 months

Flexible terms that are locked in when the offer is accepted.

  3. Fixed weekly or monthly payments

No origination fees, no early repayment penalty.

  4. Reload at the halfway point

After 50% of the loan is paid down, businesses can be reassessed for a new offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about terms, compliance, or developer infrastructure integrations? We are here to support.

How does a Fundbox Term Loan work?

Businesses are approved for a lump sum that’s deposited in full, then repaid in fixed installments over a set term. The total cost is clear before they accept, so there are no surprises down the line.

What are the available repayment terms?

Businesses choose from a range of repayment terms and lock in the one that fits their cash flow when they accept the offer.

Can customers borrow again?

Yes. Once 50% of a loan is paid down, businesses are eligible to be assessed for a new offer, so capital is there when the next opportunity shows up.

How are fee rates determined?

Fee rates are based on businesses’ credit worthiness, as determined by our underwriting models. Businesses see the associated fees at the point of the draw, including each weekly fee and the total fees over the course of the repayment term. Fee rates are determined at the time of initial underwriting and can change based on customer behavior and our ongoing underwriting models.

Can customers repay early?

Yes, customers can pay back the principal drawn amount in total at any point with no early payment fee. All fees that would be associated with the future weeks of the repayment term will be waived.

What type of integration options does Fundbox offer?

Fundbox offers flexible integration options from quick setups to fully embedded solutions using APIs, SDKs, and other developer-friendly tools.
